Walk of responsible dog owners

Royal Canin, in collaboration with the Royal Vet team, is organizing the Walk of Responsible Dog Owners for the fourth consecutive year.

Registration starts at 11:00 AM at the plaza in front of TC Staklenac (Makedonska 5). We advise you to fill out the form at this link before arriving to speed up the registration process.

The walk will start at around 1:00 PM, and the route is as follows: TC Staklenac – National Assembly – King Alexander Boulevard – Beogradska – Slavija Square – King Milan Street – Terazije – TC Staklenac.

To participate in the Royal Canin Walk of Responsible Dog Owners, the following is required:

• The dog must be microchipped and vaccinated against rabies.
• The dog must be socialized and able to handle crowds and noise well.
• The dog must be kept on a leash.
• The dog must wear a muzzle, only if it falls under the category of dogs for which this is a legal requirement.
• Female dogs in heat must not be brought.
• Hygienic bags must be brought, and hygiene must be maintained.
• Water (and a bowl) for the dog must be brought.

Along the route, there are ‘pet-friendly’ cafes where owners can rest if their dogs are unable to complete the entire journey.

We invite dog owners to arrive early so they can be ready to start the walk with their pets on time. The first 100 issued numbers will receive a Royal Canin food package, a t-shirt, a plant, refreshments, and a certificate of appreciation. All subsequent participants will also receive small gifts!

Dog owners will begin the walk after all participants of the Fun Run, according to the schedule agreed upon with the organizer.

We want to emphasize the importance of ensuring the walk goes smoothly and that the streets remain clean. We are committed to a cleaner and happier Belgrade and believe it is essential for dog owners to take responsibility when it comes to cleaning up after their pets.
