Elzan Bibić wins the 6th Sava Osiguranje Belgrade Half Marathon and breaks the national record.

Serbia’s best middle- and long-distance runner, Elzan Bibić, has won the 6th Sava Insurance Belgrade Half Marathon 2025 and set a new national record. He completed the 21-kilometer race in 1:01:47, improving the previous record—held for 27 years by Janko Benša—by 24 seconds.
Second place went to Kenya’s Viktor Kemboi (1:02:09), while another Kenyan, Caleb Alhamis (1:02:21), finished third.

In the women’s category, the course record was also broken, with Valentine Jebet from Kenya taking the victory in a time of 1:11:00.
Second place went to Devora Avramova (1:12:54) from Bulgaria, while Damaris Jepleting (1:13:01) from Kenya finished third.

The 6th Sava Insurance Belgrade Half Marathon 2025, organized in cooperation with the Serbian Athletic Federation, also served as the National Half Marathon Championship, where the title of Serbian champion was claimed by Đuro Borbelj (1:07:49).
The silver medal went to Stefan Tovilović (1:10:48), while Saša Miljković (1:11:47) took the bronze.
Among Serbian female half-marathoners, the best result was achieved by Nora Trklja Boca (1:20:27).
Ivana Živković (1:28:08) won the silver medal, while Katarina Pohlod (1:25:08) secured the bronze.

In addition to the half marathon, a 10-kilometer race was also held, where course records were broken as well. In the men’s category, the fastest was Serbia’s Nemanja Cerovac (30:07), who shattered the previous record by as much as 64 seconds. The runner-up was Russia’s Vyacheslav Sokolov (31:43), while third place went to Denis Firulović (31:45) from Romania.
In the women’s category, the best result was achieved by Marcela Jokić (34:44) from Croatia. Second place went to Serbia’s Milica Tomašević (35:01), while third place was secured by another Serbian athlete, Aleksandra Kostadinović (38:41).

The 6th Sava Osiguranje Belgrade Half Marathon was held on the streets of New Belgrade and Zemun, with the start and finish located near the Belgrade Arena. A total of 3,800 runners from 52 countries across five continents took part, and as in previous years, the event was supported by the City of Belgrade and the Ministry of Sports.
