Delegacija Beogradskog maratona na Mass Participation World konferenciji u Vijetnamu: Beograd domaćin MPW 2027!

At this year’s Mass Participation World Conference, held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the delegation of the Belgrade Marathon, led by Director Darko Habuš, with the support of partners and collaborators from the Serbian Athletics Federation (Predrag Momirović) and the Belgrade Tourist Organization (Srđan Ćopić), presented Belgrade’s potential as a tourist and cultural-historical destination. They highlighted the significance of the Belgrade Marathon and the values of unity symbolized by collective participation in this international event.

A special honor at the conference was the presence of the Serbian Consul in Ho Chi Minh City, Dragan Mladenović, who, together with the delegation, announced exciting news—Belgrade will proudly host the Mass Participation World Conference in 2027. This significant recognition comes in a pivotal year for the Serbian capital, as it will mark the 40th anniversary of the Belgrade Marathon and host the European Street Running Championship.

The Director of the Belgrade Marathon, Darko Habuš, participated as a speaker on the panel titled “Summiting Sustainably: How the 7 Pillars Can Help Grow Your Event and Business.” He shared insights and strategies for enhancing major sports events through sustainable practices.

This remarkable achievement and recognition once again underscore the dynamic growth of the Belgrade Marathon’s reputation and its exceptional role in the positive promotion of Belgrade and Serbia on the international stage of mass sporting events.
