All 3,000 participants are winners of the Women’s Race.

Maša Krizmanić won the Women’s Race, which was organized by the Belgrade Marathon and held for the 19th time at Ada Ciganlija. She completed the 7.7-kilometre course around Lake Sava in a time of 30 minutes and 3 seconds. Iva Kosanović finished second (30:12), while Marija Kastratović crossed the finish line in third place (31:52).

Three thousand women of all generations took part in the race, and according to the organizers, all those who crossed the finish line, whether running or walking, can be considered winners.
As the Belgrade Marathon emphasizes, the entire event, which was established almost two decades ago, was created with the aim of providing women with additional encouragement to engage in sports, physical activity and recreation, and thus promote healthy lifestyle habits.

For this very reason, the Women’s Race holds a special place in the Belgrade Marathon calendar. Primarily intended for recreational runners, the event aims to encourage as many women as possible to experience the joy of being active and, through their participation in the race, find the motivation to continue running or engaging in any other form of physical activity.

A special highlight of this year’s Women’s Race was the fact that a large number of young girls and children ran and walked the 7.7-kilometre course, while children also lined the route to cheer and support the participants.

All participants received T-shirts and finisher medals at the finish line, along with additional gifts from sponsors and partners. It is also worth highlighting that every race bib contained a timing chip, enabling accurate timekeeping, online results and digital certificates.
An entertainment programme was organized before and after the race, further contributing to the fantastic atmosphere. The Women’s Race was held under the patronage of the City of Belgrade and Ada Ciganlija Public Company.
