WOMEN’S RACE

WITHDRAWAL OR UNPLANNED CIRCUMSTANCE

• A participant may withdraw from the race and is not under obligation to notify the Organizer.
• Under no circumstances are the entry fees refundable.
• In case of withdrawal or not being able to participate in the race due to unplanned circumstances, the Organizer is not under the obligation to refund the participant.
• In the event that the race is cancelled or postponed due to force majeure, external events, or extraordinary circumstances, including but not limited to pandemics, natural disasters (such as floods, earthquakes, etc.), war or terrorist activities, civil unrest, fires or explosions, or government measures that hinder or prevent the organization of the event, and which could not reasonably have been foreseen, avoided, or overcome, the Organizer shall not be obliged to refund the participation fee or the cost of the participant race package.
• In the event of cancellation or postponement, all purchases will be transferred to the next available edition of the event.
• If government authorities impose specific measures as a condition for holding the event—such as proof of vaccination, a negative test result, or similar requirements—the Organizer shall not be obliged to refund the participation fee or the cost of the participant race package in the event that a participant withdraws due to such measures.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS

• Participants are requested to arrive at the Start/Finish Race Village from 8:00 AM onwards. The Race Village is located on the Makiš side of Ada Ciganlija, between the main parking area and the beginning of the beach.
• In the start/finish village, participants can use the changing tent, a wardrobe for storing and safeguarding their belongings, and mobile toilets.
• When changing, please place your belongings in the bag provided and attach the sticker included in your participant race pack. Then leave the bag at the baggage drop tent marked with the bib number range corresponding to your race bib.
• Please wear your race bib on the front of your shirt, positioned on your lower abdomen. Do not attach it to your back, high on your chest, or carry it crumpled in your hand. Otherwise, your timing chip may not be detected at the start, intermediate timing points, or the finish line.
• Approximately 15 minutes before the start of the race, we will organize a group warm-up session followed by an official group photo.
• After the warm-up and photo session, we will invite you to enter the start zone.
• The race will start in waves to reduce congestion along the lakeside promenade and ensure a more comfortable experience for all participants, whether running or walking. Each wave will start at 10-minute intervals. There is no need to worry about your result, as every participant will receive an official net time, measured from the moment she crosses the start line until she crosses the finish line. Age category rankings will be based on net time.
• At 10:00 AM, the sounding of the starting siren will signal the start of the first wave of participants.
• After completing the course around the lake, you will receive your unique finisher’s medal at the finish line, along with refreshments and drinks provided by the event organizers and partners.
• The awards ceremony for the top three overall finishers will take place on the main stage at 11:30 AM.
