A sports forum of the 39th Powerade Belgrade Marathon was held.

In anticipation of the 39th Powerade Belgrade Marathon, which will take place on April 18 and 19 on the streets of our capital, the fourth Sports Forum was traditionally held, bringing together leading experts in the fields of sport, medicine, safety, tourism, and economics.
The Director of the Belgrade Marathon, Darko Habuš, emphasised that the Sports Forum is an extremely important segment of the Belgrade Marathon and the best possible introduction to the race weekend, where knowledge, experience, and ideas shaping modern sport were once again exchanged this year.

“As organizers, we particularly emphasize the educational character of the Forum, as we believe that the Belgrade Marathon is not only a sporting challenge, but also a platform for learning, development, and the exchange of experiences. The Forum is intended both for race participants and for the wider public, partners, and everyone who wants to better understand the complexity and importance of a major sporting event,” emphasized the Director of the Belgrade Marathon, Darko Habuš.

Through carefully designed panel discussions, the focus was on key topics accompanying the development of the Belgrade Marathon—from technical and organizational aspects, through runners’ health and preparation, to the broader social, tourism, and economic impact of this sporting event.

“I am confident that all Forum participants had a unique opportunity to gain insight into all aspects of a large system—from organization and safety, through personal preparation and health, to the broader impact that the marathon has on the city and the community. I am very pleased to say that the Sports Forum has become a place where sport is viewed more broadly—not only through results, but as a driver of connection, knowledge, and positive change in society,” concluded Habuš.

Realizacija Sportskog foruma Beogradskog maratona ostvarena je uz značajnu podršku akademske zajednice – Univerziteta Singidunum i Fakulteta za fizičku kulturu i menadžment u sportu, čiji stručni doprinos dodatno potvrđuje važnost povezivanja sporta, obrazovanja i nauke.
