  • In the event of cancellation or postponement of the event due to force majeure—external events and extraordinary circumstances, including the COVID-19 pandemic or any other pandemic, natural disasters (such as floods, earthquakes, etc.), war or terrorist activities, public disturbances, fires or explosions, or measures taken by state authorities that hinder or prevent the holding of the event and which could not have been foreseen, avoided, or remedied in advance—the organizer shall not be obliged to refund the fees paid for the participant race pack.
  • In the event of cancellation or postponement, all purchases will be transferred to the next available edition of the event.

RUNNERS INFO

RACE START TIMES:
  • MARATHON: Sunday, April 19 at 8:00 AM
  • HALF MARATHON AND RELAY HALF MARATHON: Saturday, April 18 at 9:00 AM
  • 10K: Saturday, April 18 at 6:00 PM
RACE ZONE: Republic Square
  • Runners change in the designated tents and hand their clothes to volunteers in the Wardrobe Area. Volunteers will only collect items that are packed in official participant bags with a sticker displaying the participant’s number and will then store them. Runners’ belongings will be waiting for them at the same location after the races. Runners will collect their clothes based on their race number.
BEFORE THE START:
  • Every participant must wear the race number they were assigned; otherwise, they will be disqualified. The race bib must be worn on the lower front part of the torso.
  • All participants must be in the START ZONE no later than 15 minutes before the start of the race they are participating in. When taking their starting positions, elite runners stand right behind the start line, while the others must position themselves behind the “human wall.”
  • Runners in the start area must follow the instructions of the official announcer and referees. Runners whose behavior disrupts the schedule and overall order will be removed and disqualified.
RACE:
  • The sound of the start horn indicates the start of the races.
  • Each participant in the marathon must pass through the checkpoints along the course. If a participant fails to check in at the checkpoints for any reason, they will lose their official finishing place and time.
  • Runners who are unable to finish the race can approach the nearest medical unit or staff at a refreshment point along the course and wait for transport back to the PRE-START ZONE or, if necessary, to a medical facility.
  • Both marathon and half marathon finishers will receive medals. Once they exit the barrier zone, all competitors will have access to refreshments, medical assistance, and toilet facilities.
