Withdrawal from Participation and Unforeseen Circumstances

  • A participant may withdraw from the race without needing to notify the organizer.
  • Under no circumstances are the entry fees refundable.
  • In the event of withdrawal or inability to participate due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizer is not obligated to refund the participant.
  • In the event of cancellation or postponement of the event due to force majeure—external events and extraordinary circumstances, including the COVID-19 pandemic or any other pandemic, natural disasters (such as floods, earthquakes, etc.), war or terrorist activities, public disturbances, fires or explosions, or measures taken by state authorities that hinder or prevent the holding of the event and which could not have been foreseen, avoided, or remedied in advance—the organizer shall not be obliged to refund the fees paid for the participant race pack.
  • In the event of cancellation or postponement, all purchases will be transferred to the next available edition of the event.
  • If the government implements special measures required for the event (such as vaccination status or a negative test as a condition for participation), the organizer is not obligated to refund the participation fee if the participant withdraws.

RUNNERS INFO

RACE START TIMES:
  • MARATHON: Sunday, April 19 at 8:00 AM
  • HALF MARATHON AND RELAY HALF MARATHON: Saturday, April 18 at 9:00 AM
  • 10K: Saturday, April 18 at 6:00 PM
RACE ZONE: Republic Square
  • Runners change in the designated tents and hand their clothes to volunteers in the Wardrobe Area. Volunteers will only collect items that are packed in official participant bags with a sticker displaying the participant’s number and will then store them. Runners’ belongings will be waiting for them at the same location after the races. Runners will collect their clothes based on their race number.
BEFORE THE START:
  • Every participant must wear the race number they were assigned; otherwise, they will be disqualified. The race bib must be worn on the lower front part of the torso.
  • All participants must be in the START ZONE no later than 15 minutes before the start of the race they are participating in. When taking their starting positions, elite runners stand right behind the start line, while the others must position themselves behind the “human wall.”
  • Runners in the start area must follow the instructions of the official announcer and referees. Runners whose behavior disrupts the schedule and overall order will be removed and disqualified.
RACE:
  • The sound of the start horn indicates the start of the races.
  • Each participant in the marathon must pass through the checkpoints along the course. If a participant fails to check in at the checkpoints for any reason, they will lose their official finishing place and time.
  • Runners who are unable to finish the race can approach the nearest medical unit or staff at a refreshment point along the course and wait for transport back to the PRE-START ZONE or, if necessary, to a medical facility.
  • Both marathon and half marathon finishers will receive medals. Once they exit the barrier zone, all competitors will have access to refreshments, medical assistance, and toilet facilities.

The right to participate is granted to all citizens aged 18 and older. The time limit for the race is 6 hours. The race starts at 08:00 on Sunday, April 19, at Republic Square, along the following streets:

HALF MARATHON

All citizens are eligible to participate. Participants aged 14 to 18 must have written parental consent, which must be signed by a parent on site when collecting the participant race pack. The time limit for the race is 3 hours. The race starts at 09:00 on Saturday, April 18, at Republic Square, passing through the following streets:

Serbia Post Relay Half Marathon

Relay Half Marathon: Saturday, April 18 at 9:05 AM
Course length: 21.1 km
Number of team members: 4
Number of exchange points: 3 (approximately at 5.4 km, 11.5 km, and 17 km
Race time limit: 3 hours

The start, course, and finish coincide with the half-marathon race of the 39th Powerade Belgrade Marathon. Each team member runs their designated section and hands over the relay to the next runner at the designated exchange points.

Eligibility to participate

  1. Individuals aged 18 and over
  2. Minors aged 14 to 18, with written parental consent (signature required at package collection).

Categories

Relay teams compete in two main categories:

  1. Open category
  2. Corporate category

In both categories, there are three subcategories:

  1. Men’s
  2. Women’s
  3. Mixed (minimum of one team member of the opposite gender)

Registration and entry fee

Registration is open until April 13, 2026. year , with a limited number of entries available.

Open Category
Eligible to participate are citizens of Serbia and other countries aged 14 and over.
Entry fee: 18,000 RSD

Corporate Category
Employees of companies are eligible to participate.
One legal entity may register multiple teams.
Price: 21,600 RSD + VAT
Payment is made by invoice, in accordance with the number of registered relay teams.

A registration is considered valid once all team members have been registered and the payment has been recorded.

Participant package

The participant packages for all four team members are combined into a single team package.
The package is collected at the race EXPO of the 39th Powerade Belgrade Marathon upon presentation of a valid personal identification document. Any team member may collect the package on behalf of the entire team.
Package collection on race day is not possible.

Important notes

  1. The order in which team members are registered determines the running order.
  2. Changes are possible until April 13, 2026, with an additional fee of 600 RSD per change.
  3. All other terms and conditions apply as for the other races within the 39th Powerade Belgrade Marathon.
  4. Detailed technical instructions will be published in the week preceding the race.

10K RACE

All citizens have the right to participate, while children aged 12 to 18 must have written consent from a parent, which the parent will sign on-site during the pickup of the participant packet. The time limit for the race is 90 minutes. The race starts at 18:00 on Saturday, April 18, at Republic Square, passing through the following streets:
