IMPORTANT

The organizer may close registration early if the maximum number of participants is reached.
Registration becomes valid only after the payment for the participant package has been confirmed.
Please use a valid email address during registration.
One participant – one registration. It’s not possible to register multiple participants using one account/email.
Changes to registration details will be possible until October 31, 2024 for an additional fee of 600 RSD (5 EUR). Send requests for changes to support@bgdmarathon.org.
Registration/payment on the day of the race is not possible!
A runner can participate in the 10K race from the age of 12, and in the half marathon from the age of 14. Participants aged 12-17 must come to the Registration Center with a parent or guardian, who will sign a consent form on-site, or they can bring a notarized consent form.

You must pick up your participant package in person with a valid ID at the 37th Comtrade Belgrade Marathon EXPO.
Picking up the participant package on-site or on the day of the event will not be possible!

Withdrawal from Participation and Unforeseen Circumstances

A participant may withdraw from the race without needing to notify the organizer.
In the event of withdrawal or inability to participate due to unforeseen circumstances, the organizer is not obligated to refund the participant.
In the event of cancellation or postponement due to force majeure—such as pandemics (including COVID-19 or others), natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, etc.), war, terrorist activities, public unrest, fires, explosions, or government measures that prevent or hinder the event—the organizer is not obligated to refund the entry fee.
In the event of cancellation or postponement, all purchases will be transferred to the next available edition of the event.
If the government implements special measures required for the event (such as vaccination status or a negative test as a condition for participation), the organizer is not obligated to refund the participation fee if the participant withdraws.

RUNNERS INFO

Participants arrive at the PRE-START ZONE – in front of the National Assembly House – starting from 08.00 a.m., no later than 09.30 a.m.
Participants change into the designated tents and hand their belongings to the volunteers in the WARDROBE AREA (Cloakroom hours: 08:00 – 14:00). Volunteers will label and store the collected items. The clothes will be waiting for runners in the tent after the race. Runners will collect their clothes based on their race number. In the pre-start zone, participants can also use portable toilets.
Every participant must wear the race number they were assigned; otherwise, they will be disqualified. Be sure to place your race number on the front of your shirt, around the stomach area.
All participants must be in the Start Zone by 9:45 a.m. at the latest. When taking their starting positions, elite runners stand right behind the start line, while the others must position themselves behind the “human wall.”
Runners in the start area must follow the instructions of the official announcer and referees. Runners whose behavior disrupts the schedule and overall order will be removed and disqualified.
At 10:00 a.m., the sound of the siren signals the start of the race.
Each participant in the marathon must pass through the checkpoints along the course. If a participant fails to check in at the checkpoints for any reason, they will lose their official finishing place and time.
The time limit for both races is 3 hours.
Runners who are unable to finish the race can approach the nearest medical unit or staff at a refreshment point along the course and wait for transport back to the PRE-START ZONE or, if necessary, to a medical facility.
As runners enter the finishing straight (about 400 meters to the finish), the race splits into the 10K and half marathon. Half marathon participants run on the left side of the street and enter through the left side of the gate, while 10K participants run on the right side of the street and enter through the right side of the gate.
Both marathon and half marathon finishers will receive medals. Once they exit the barrier zone, all competitors will have access to refreshments, medical assistance, and toilet facilities.
The top three finishers in the overall standings for the 10K race (both men and women) will be announced at 11:00, and for the half marathon at 12:00, on the stage at the finish line.

The race starts at 10:00 a.m. at the intersection of Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra and Resavska streets, and the route passes through the following streets: Bulevar Kralja Aleksandra – Beogradska – Starine Novaka – Dvadeset sedmog marta – Džordža Vašingtona – Cara Dušana – Bulevar Vojvode Bojovića – Kneza Sime Markovića – Pop-Lukina – Brankova – Brankov Bridge – Bulevar Nikole Tesle – Karađorđev Square – 22. oktobra – Aleksandra Dubčeka – Bulevar Mihajla Pupina – Omladinskih brigada – Bulevar Milutina Milankovića – Bulevar umetnosti (turn) – Bulevar Milutina Milankovića – Milentija Popovića – Bulevar Zorana Đinđića – Antifašističke borbe – Bulevar Mihajla Pupina – Brankov Bridge – Brankova – Kraljice Natalije – Kneza Miloša – Kralja Milana – Terazije – The finish line is in front of the Hotel Moskva.
