Mini Mini Plazma Children’s Marathon postponed to May 10 due to weather conditions.
Thursday, 24. April 2025
Due to the forecast of unfavorable weather conditions, this year’s Mini Mini Plazma Children’s Marathon, originally scheduled for Saturday, April 26, has been postponed to a new date – Saturday, May 10, 2025. The event will take place at the Belgrade Zoo.
The goal of this change is to ensure optimal conditions for a safe and enjoyable event experience, both for the children and all visitors.

The Children’s Marathon, now in its 29th edition, is one of the most joyful and heartwarming sporting events for the youngest participants. More than 15,000 preschoolers from Belgrade took part in the preliminary rounds, and the fastest 170 have secured their place in the finals.
During the event, 12 qualifying races will be held, and the winner of each race will compete in the grand final, which traditionally takes place on the circular track around the elephant enclosure at the Zoo.
This year, 20 children with special needs will also take part in the event, further emphasising the importance of inclusion, equality, and the spirit of togetherness that this celebration proudly promotes.

Details regarding the program and organization will be presented at a press conference to be held on Thursday, May 8, at the Tigrić Café in the Belgrade Zoo.
Thank you for your understanding and support. See you on May 10 — ready for the race, smiles, and memories that last a lifetime!
